From Aaron at 2008-10-02 15:50:41 : The spur's route is now the route of the New Weston radial road, a dual carriageway, taking advantage of the strange layout of the A370 at the Western end of the roundabout. but this wasn't built until at least a few decades later, so I think the whole thing was set up for this spur route, up until the spur itself was cancelled.
