On the Liskeard bypass, traffic grinds to a halt as we approach the roadworks at the eastern end.

Off the A38 now, this is Havett Road - the road to the (now closed) Dobwalls Theme Park, which has been diverted to allow the construction of a bridge.

A country lane - called Tremabe Lane, that's been closed during the bypass construction. It's already looking very overgrown and abandoned.

Now on the A38 eastbound approaching the village from Bodmin. This is where the road splits off towards a new roundabout.

A cutting for the new road can just be seen. The new roundabout will be between there and here.

Dobwalls used to have a temporary one-way system which would take traffic around a huge roundabout consisting of the A38, A390 and a B-road. It was used on Summer Saturdays, but it no longer appears to be in operation, maybe because the roadworks further east are now more liable to holding up the traffic.

The bridge will pass over the railway here. It looks very high, especially as we're about to dive under it!You can see one embankment on the other side of the rail line.
